Govt of India has sent a written communication to Sanyukta Kisan Morcha on 09 December stating that Electricity (Amendment) Bill 2021 will not be placed in Parliament before discussions with all stakeholders / Sanyukta Kisan Morcha.
2. Constituents of NCCOEEE being the foremost National Federations of Power Employees and Engineers, are the major stakeholders in the Electricity industry. Government opted to put complete hold upon the ongoing process of discussion, drafting a new Bill, since the initial days of COVID-19 Pandemic and moving arbitrarily to the legislation process. NCCOEEE had to resort to the path of struggle.
2. NCCOEEE, upon the above development decided to postpone the Parliament March on 15th December, 2021 and greets the struggling spirit of valiant Farmers and members of all constituent organizations of NCCOEEE.
