Best Amendment would be to reduce the inflation to Zero by the Central Government and revert back to gold standard. Paper currencies with too much of  financial jugglery has put the federal governments, enjoying the power of harlots without any direct responsibility, in a stronger position  thus reducing the status of the states. GOI has failed miserably for last 20 years in keeping the inflation under control leading to Governments, both State and Central becoming sanctimonious dream merchants with trick after trick being sustained by technological breakthroughs of reducing importance
