18 August - Protest Demonstration/Meeting against Privatization all over Country
National Coordination Committee Of Electricity Employees & Engineers (NCCOEEE) meeting was held on 04th August 2020 through video conferencing.Main Agenda of meeting was follow up action on Electricity (Amendment) Bill 2020, Ongoing process of privatization of UT's, Privatization proposal of Poorvanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam a UP DISCOM & Privatization of CESU Odisha and apathetic attitude of Tata Power. NCCOEEE circular is attached. BMS Circular is also attached which is a welcome step in the struggle against privatization in the coming days.
2. National Coordination Committee Of Electricity Employees & Engineers (NCCOEEE) has decided to observe 18th August 2020 as National Energy Security Day by holding Protest Demonstration/Meeting all over the country. Main Demands...
A. Withdraw Electricity (Amendment) Bill 2020.
B.Cancel Privatization proposal of Union Territories, Poorvanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam UP DISCOM & CESU Odisha.
C.Show Solidarity with Coal Workers against privatization of Coal Mines.
3. All AIPEF Constituents are requested to hold the Joint Action Committee Meeting immediately in States to ensure massive success of Protest Demonstration/Meeting on 18th August 2020.
