AIPEF seeks CM Haryana’s intervention against dismissals December 01, 2019

All India Power Engineers Federation (AIPEF) has requested the Chief Minister Haryana   to direct the power department authorities to revoke termination and reversal of assistant engineers.

AIPEF in a letter to Chief Minister has drawn his attention towards unlawful termination of seven  assistant engineers and reversion of seven assistant engineers of Bijli Nigams on ground of not passing the departmental examination of accounts paper. Termination notice to another  seven engineers have also been issued.

AIPEF  has pointed out  that in past in number of cases engineers were given extra chances  to pass this departmental examination but now all of sudden engineers have been terminated from service which is a very extreme action.

Meanwhile  Haryana Power Engineers  Association in its   meeting held today decided to hold protest meeting on December 8 at Panipat against the dismissals of seven engineers. K K Malik General Secretary  of the Association said that the engineers are  highly agitated on this issue and further course of action will be decided in the protest rally. He said that AIPEF in its letter has requested the chief minister to  intervene and  direct the power department authorities to revoke termination and reversal of Assistant Engineers in this matter. AIPEF also sought reversal of such harsh rules and assistant engineers may be given more chances to pass accounts examination.
